Visitor attractions have long benefited from impressive projections like the ones you see below in the Portuguse catacoombs. What made this particular installation interesting was its use of the new Fujifilm Z5000 Projector with its flexible rotating lens and impressive lens shifts which resulted in large savings in terms of time to install and the cost of installation.
For example, the flexibility of the Fuji Z5000 lens meant instead of 100 standard projectors they required only 35 Fuji projectors plus 10 standard projectors. The Fuji projector adapts extremely well in any space with its unique twistable lens arrangement. Coupled with its market leading horizontal and vertical lens shift it means its also cheaper and easier to install.
In addition, the Z5000s projection mapping feature helps project more easily onto curved and difficult surfaces. As the video below demonstrates, the Fuji projector’s built in edge blending software creates impressive large moving visuals covering the large areas of the catacombs.
Moreover, projector positioning is much simpler with the Fuji’s unique twistable lens and wide range of lens shift options ensuring the projector itself could be positioned out of the way of the audience while still creating magnificent results at the visitor attraction.
